Jargon Buster! 

GHZ, MB, GB, DVDRW, CDRW - What do all the abbreviations mean? Here's a quick run down:

  1. Ghz or Mhz is talking about the speed of the processor (1000Mhz in 1Ghz, 1.3Ghz is 1300Mhz)
  2. MB - Megabytes - There is 1024MB in one Gigabyte (GB)
  3. DVD/DVDRW/CDRW - DVD will play DVDs or CDs. CDRW will play and write to (burn to) CDs. DVDRW will play and write DVD's and CD's.
  4. WIFI - Refers to the laptop being fitted out to connect to the internet without wires, some laptops have this built in others can do by adding a slot in card, available to add to any laptop on this site in the options section of each listing.
