Social entrepreneurs work in two ways – by working to ensure used laptops and cheap laptops get in the hands of people in the poorest or remotest of spots, and by using online networks to attack big social challenges. Social entrepreneurs can tackle anything that has been left by the wayside by governments from inoculating babies to providing education. Being connected via a laptop to the internet means people can access the greatest minds via email, create online forums and advice centres or access knowledge, information and avenues previously unattainable.
